1000 Books End of the Cycle Celebration

Today and every day School Based Youth Services strives to make a difference in our students' life.  Pictured below are some of the students in the program, 1000 Books, a collaboration between School Based Services,  the Perth Amboy Library, and Casa Argentina de NJ, celebrating the end of the program. The program,  among many other things, helps students develop their leadership skills, and build their careers and network while doing community service in their Public Library.
 The program also provides a unique and meaningful way to develop a love of reading, as well as multicultural awareness by incorporating crafts and dramatic readings.
